We used the long hallway through New York’s Port Authority for a poster-by-poster recreation of a coffee drinker’s thought process on their way to work: “When you have a long walk, your mind tends to wander from subject to subject, like, you start out thinking about work, then something makes you think of squirrels, then you jump to 70s music, the theory of gravity, freckles, a person you dated in high school, Roman emperors, toe sox, until you near the end of your walk and reality brings you back to thinking what kind of coffee you’re going to get at Starbucks on your way to work.”
